My dear comrades, brothers and sisters, family and friends, it is with profound sadness to inform you that our dear comrade and friend, Pat Patterson passed away this morning at the age of 96.

Just over a week ago Pat went back to his hometown of Cincinnati, OH to live with his son Craig and daughter-in-law Connie to be closer to his family, in particular his grandchildren.

Pat was our hero, one of the "Greatest Generation", a friend to everyone and loved by everyone!

A World War II Veteran, Pat was an Army Air Force B-24 pilot in the 15th Air Force when his plane was shot down after a bombing run and he spent 10 1/2 months in a German POW Camp before being liberated by Allied Forces under General George Patton.

Pat served his country proudly and we are forever in his debt for the sacrifices he made and for making our days and lives much, much brighter and forever better!

So Pat has gone home and will be again reunited with his late wife Jeanne.

Pat my friend, you are be missed but will be forever in our hearts!

Fair winds and following seas! Rest in Peace!
